According to Saifuddin Latoon, spokesperson for the provincial governor, the projects will be implemented in 126 villages including the capital Bazarak, as well as the districts of Anaba, Rukha and Hesa-e-Awal.
The planned work includes building retaining walls, paving rural roads, expanding water supply networks and constructing irrigation canals.
The program funded by DACAAR are expected to be completed over a two-year period and will be implemented in partnership with UNICEF.
